As we have throughout the pandemic, Waddington’s adheres to government-mandated guidelines and focuses on the best solutions to protect our staff and community.
We sincerely hope that you and those around you are and remain well. We know we are privileged to have you as a client and we are working hard to deliver the highest level of service.
Working from HOMe
Waddington’s staff will be working remotely until January 26, 2022 or until further direction from the Ontario government.
January auctions to be rescheduled
To do our part to minimize the risks associated with the spread of COVID-19, we are postponing the following auctions:
PREVIEWS & consultations
Client access to Waddington’s gallery for previews and consultations is restricted at this time.
Our specialists are pleased to connect with you over the phone, via email or video.
Pick ups & Drop Offs continue on an appointment basis – Main Floor Lobby
We are pleased to provide safe options for you to pick up purchased items, as well as dropping off consignments, Mondays through Fridays.
However, as we are operating with limited onsite staff during this time period, we ask for your patience in scheduling an appointment.
Pick ups will be accommodated at our main floor lobby, 275 King Street East, Toronto, as access to our office and gallery its currently restricted.
Courier and Shipper Pick Up:
We continue to work with shippers and couriers for pick up of purchased items.

If you prefer to wait to pick up your purchases, please be assured that your items will be safely stored and insured while on our premises.
Client site visits
Visits to client homes or offices are suspended at this time.
We are pleased to connect with you by telephone or over a video call to discuss consignment opportunities. Please contact us to find out more.
We’re also pleased to meet with you – virtually – on the video platform of your choice to discuss consignment opportunities or your appraisal needs. Please contact us to find out more.
What We’re Doing
- Following protocols regarding masking, physical distancing, etc.
- Disinfecting common areas on a regular basis
- Completing a Health Declaration upon arrival at the office
- Providing detailed safety protocols when arranging pick ups and drop offs, or meeting with clients
What we ask you to do
We request that visitors to Waddington’s follow the guidelines provided by public health officials. The measures put in place are necessary to protect us all – and we appreciate your cooperation. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us.
Please be aware that due to some of the precautions we are required to observe, we are not always able to accommodate your requests for pick ups or drop offs. Our staff are working hard to meet your requests within a safe and manageable environment.
We are grateful to all our clients and assure you that we always have your best interests at heart. We share a common objective – to achieve the best possible results. Our decision making is always guided by fiscal and ethical accountability.
