STATUS UPDATE: November 26
With everyone’s health and safety our top priority, here’s what Waddington’s is doing to protect our clients and staff and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Our toronto Gallery is currently NOT Accessible to visitors
Picking Up Your Purchases
We are however, pleased to provide safe options for your purchased items, Mondays through Fridays.
Effective Friday, November 27
We are slightly modifying the process for client pick up of purchased items.
In-Person Pick Up:
- Appointments continue to be required, however, pick ups will be facilitated in our street level lower lobby.
- Please buzz our new intercom inside the lobby once you have arrived for your scheduled appointment.
- An associate will bring your items to you in the lower lobby.
Please note that all appointments require two business days’ notice – we appreciate your patience and understanding.
Courier and Shipper Pick Up:
We continue to work with shippers and couriers for pick up of purchased items.
If you prefer to wait to pick up your purchases, please be assured that your items will be safely stored and insured while on our premises.
Please note that Waddington’s will be closed for our annual year-end break from December 21 to January 4, 2021, inclusive.
Important note: Health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
To find out more, or to book an appointment, please contact us.
Unfortunately, we are not able to invite our clients to in-person previews of our auctions at this time.
But as always, we are happy to provide additional photographs, detailed information, condition reports or virtual consultations via email or video call, and are always pleased to connect over the telephone.
Client site visits
For the duration of the restrictions in Toronto, we are pausing visits to clients’ homes or offices. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but believe this is in all of our best interest.
We are pleased to connect with you by telephone or over a video call to discuss items you maybe considering for consignment, or to provide additional information about a current auction.
What We’re Doing
As requested by health authorities, we are staying at home as much as possible. Our onsite skeleton staff adheres to strict guidelines, which include:
- Wearing masks
- Physical distancing
- Frequent handwashing
- Completing a Health Declaration upon arrival at the office
- Disinfecting common areas immediately following use
- Providing detailed safety protocols when arranging pick ups
What we ask you to do
Please also be aware that due to some of the precautions we are required to observe, we are not always able to accommodate your requests for immediate pick ups. Our staff are working hard to meet your requests within a safe and manageable environment.
Please observe the precautionary measures we have put in place. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us.
We are grateful to all our clients and assure you that we always have your best interests at heart. We share a common objective – to achieve the best possible results. Our decision-making is always guided by fiscal and ethical accountability.
