Note:

This print depicts the moment Urashima Taro returns from the Dragon Palace, the underwater realm where he spent what seemed only a few days but was, in fact, many years. He emerges from the sea carrying a mysterious box, entrusted to him by the princess, which holds the secret of time. As he steps back into the human world, he confronts the irreversible passage of years and the loss of all he once knew. This scene captures the poignant tension between the magical realm he leaves behind and the reality he must now face.
