Note:

Klunder views his abstract paintings, which are known for their layered and thick impasto, as reflections on self-portraiture. Since 2000 he has had 40 one-person exhibitions. Klunder has exhibited throughout Canada, Europe, the U.S., Australia, Japan and China and his work is included in the collections of the National Gallery in Ottawa, the Art Gallery of Toronto and Musée d'art contemporain in Montreal.
