Note:

Wanda Koop is one of Canada’s most distinguished artists. Her painting career spans four decades. Her work is held in numerous private collections and public exhibitions including the National Gallery of Canada, Musee des beaux-arts, Montreal, and the Winnipeg Art Gallery, which mounted a major survey of her work.

Koop is a Member of the Order of Canada, has received the Governor General’s Award in the Visual and Media Arts and is the founder of Winnipeg’s Art City. She has received Honorary Doctorate Degrees from the University of Victoria, the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg.

Her recent solo exhibitions have been, “In Absentia” at Night Gallery, 2017; “Standing Withstanding” at Arsenal Contemporary in NY, 2018; “Reflect” at Franklin Parrasch, 2018, “Dreamline”, at the Dallas Museum of Art in Texas, 2019, “Breaking News” at Patel Division Projects, Toronto, 2020, and "HeartbeatBots at the Night Gallery in LA, 2020.

Koop is represented by Blouin/Division in Montreal/Toronto, Night Gallery in LA, and Franklin Parrasch Gallery in New York.
