Note:

Bonnie Marin’s practice includes painting, collage, sculpture and artist’s books.

Her work can be described as hybrid of pop and surrealism. It is narrative-based, and deals with gender, body modification, body image, mental health and human behavior. Her ideas and inspiration come from re-purposing found objects, new and vintage materials, and social issues.

Marin received her MFA from the University of Manitoba where she is also teaching. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally and is held in collections around the world.
