Note:

Diane Whitehouse was born in the United Kingdom, studied at Birmingham Collage of Art and Bergen Kunsthandworkskole, Bergen Norway. She moved to Canada in 1967 and taught painting at several institutions throughout Canada; from 1980 to 2001 she taught painting at the University of Manitoba.

Whitehouse was an instrumental founding member of MAWA Mentoring Artists for Women’s Art. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Winnipeg Art Gallery, University of Manitoba, University of Alberta, Canada Council Art Bank, Department of External Affairs and many private collections throughout Canada and the United Kingdom.
