Note:

Scott Dinel graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design from Ryerson Polytechnic University, in Toronto, Ontario, in 1989. He worked in Interior Design for several years before dedicating himself on a more full-time basis to making folk art. Since 1994, he started painting, his works a reflection of nineteenth-century primitive art. He is a self-taught painter, and works in both two and three-dimensional forms.
