An unusual and possibly unique trade silver depiction of a thunderbird from the collection of William Harry Carter.

Published in Carter's 1971 book North American Indian Trade Silver Vol. 1 (a Fur Trade Series) with the notation: "Effigy of a bird, nicely walk engraved and marked with three crowned "A"s in a circle. Mark as yet unidentified."
