Note:

E. Henry Darley moved to Philadelphia early in the 19th Century. He is known to have shown only in the exhibitions of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia. The first appearance of his work was there in 1828. For the next several years he contributed portraits to the Pennsylvania exhibitions.
