Adolf Constantin Baumgartner-Stoiloff (1850-1924) was famous for his portrayals of 19th century Russia. Originally born in Austria, Baumgartner-Stoiloff studied at the St. Petersburg Imperial Academy of Fine Arts in the 1880s.
