Provenance:

The York Downs Golf and Country Club Collection of Art, Unionville, ON

For the Club’s relocation from Bathurst Street to its current location in Unionville, all new artwork was acquired.  The relocation process took place between 1968 and 1971 and the wall hangings were acquired during that time.  When the Clubhouse opened in 1971, the new art collection including paintings by top Canadian artists was put on display. This work along with lot 80 and 85 was displayed in the dining room from opening day until about 1990.
