CONDITION DETAILS

The canvas is original and is not relined. It has cracks and crazing lines visible on the verso. There is crazing and small white marks at the top right on the recto. It is rare to see one signed verso and titled; it is a charming earlier one. The frame is heavy and it has a framer's label to the reverse of Paul Tiecke Vergolder Berlin (it may not be the original frame). The canvas is very dirty and would benefit from a cleaning. Black light examination shows crazing lines and dark pigments.
