Note:

Final proofs of this poster included lettering. There are two versions, this one being the announcement of the performance of John Hewelt's "Les Fantoches," a puppet show extravaganza staged at the theater of the Musée Grevin, which was a frequent client of Chéret's. The other version was used to announce a "Fête des Artistes" at the venue as well as a variety of other shows. Both shows were at the wax museum Musée Grévin.
