Note:
Born into a family of inventors and sculptors and surrounded by the materials of his trade on the family farm, Andreas Drenters was inspired at a young age to create for the simple pleasure of doing so. He has been creating whimsical, dynamic sculptures for many years at his home and studio at the Rockwood Academy in Ontario. "I love coming through that door every morning to see what I can create today. It gives me so much joy." Drenters was inducted into the Sculpture Society of Canada in 1965.
