LUCY TASSEOR TUTSWEETOK (1934-2012)
Additional Images
Provenance:
Private collection, Toronto, ON
Note:
An exquisite small work by Lucy Tasseor Tutsweetok, and a classic example of the artist's versatility. Here Tasseor is clearly comfortable in the intimate as in the monumental scale. The two figures are defined with seemingly minimal intervention without losing any of their power of evocation. A striking image of family compassion.
