Lot Report

Note:

I created this Inukshuk out of a collection of unearthed historical bricks to show respect for the Inummariit. Each brick was carefully chosen and gently placed together to create a traditional symbol, to display the spirit of friendship, hope and community.

About the Artist:
Cat is an ardent creative, and passionate drummer and inventive photographer with a love for reviving history. Citybonez™ pays photographic homage to our stately skeleton bricks manufactured by brickyards dating back to 1889, offering a glimpse into our collective architecture. Digging through the cast offs from dilapidated structures, she exhumes the mud bones of what once was.
