Note:

Robinson’s fascination with the body and the ways in which it moves and dwells in space finds decisive expression in his suspended works. For the Moment draws attention to a point of precarity, in which the figure who grips a taut line in front of his body is held aloft by this same thread. In wrestling with the very force that suspends him, the figure - whether knowingly or unknowingly - becomes the architect of his own demise. Robinson’s oeuvre brims with explorations of the human condition, underscored by the physical and metaphysical tension that subtends his work.
