Note:
Harimaze woodblock prints were designed to be cut apart and applied to screens or albums. The current examples are rare in that they are depicted in negative black and white, to imitate classical Chinese stone rubbings from steles.
The same prints can be found at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, accession number 15.164; and the Minneapolis Institute of Art, accession number P.78.64.22.
One print was sold at Bonhams San Francisco, April 30, 2007, lot 3165.
