Both in the style of Chinese stone rubbings (ishizuri); the first sheet with four pictures of New Year Decorations, Pine Trees on Rocks, Butterflies, and Winterberry and Dried Fish, by Hiroshige I and Hiroshige II (Shigenobu); the second sheet with a View of Mount Fuji and a River Landscape

Harimaze woodblock prints were designed to be cut apart and applied to screens or albums. The current examples are rare in that they are depicted in negative black and white, to imitate classical Chinese stone rubbings from steles.

The same prints can be found at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, accession number 15.164; and the Minneapolis Institute of Art, accession number P.78.64.22.
