Robert E. Hall (1961-2020) and Nancy H. Hall (1934-2015) were well-known philanthropists and advocates of the humanities in Baltimore, Maryland, establishing positions and a fund at Johns Hopkins University, including a professorship position in the Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, a curatorship position at the Sheridan Libraries, and a brain research fund at Johns Hopkins Hospital, as well as establishing a fellowship program at the Walters Art Museum.
