With six dishes assembled around a central polygonal dish to create a foliate-form set, each with a Greek key-fret border surrounding the flat edge and groups of butterflies decorating the interior, all against a yellow ground. Wood tray

Acquired by the president of an American-Japanese trading company during the first-half of the 20th Century. They specialized in importing and exporting goods from China and locations Tokyo, Yokohama, and Karuizawa Thence by descent within the family and brought to Canada in 1979.
