Note:

Brian Hunter is a Winnipeg-based artist with a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Concordia University.

In 2016, he won the 18th RBC Canadian Painting Competition. In 2012, Hunter spent one year in residency at the Gwangju Museum of Art, in South Korea. Select exhibitions and festivals include the Kunsthalle Gwangju in South Korea, the Ourense film festival in Spain, and the Power Plant in Toronto.

Hunter's work has been featured in the Globe and Mail, Border Crossings Magazine, the Montreal Gazette and the Winnipeg Free Press.
