PARR (1893-1969)
Note:
“In the spring of 1961, I approached Parr to ask him about his interest in drawing. He expressed reservations; however, I left him a large sketch pad and pencils. In the course of the following weeks, Parr filled the sketch pad with a myriad of images derived from aspects of the hunting culture which he had experienced. From that point on Parr became a prolific and constant participant.”
