Lot Report

Note:

NL has much to offer in its beauty but for me this photo captures the free spirit of the people of the province. The haphazard collection of houses painted in the colours of the surrounding landscape show a harmony and balance between them and their environment.

About the Artist:
Helen Mahler is a photographer and high school math teacher. She studied Ceramics and Photography at West Surrey College of Art in England. There she began her passion with photography, developing both film and prints and shooting in black and white. Early on she began to explore pattern, shapes, texture, contrast and reflections and continues to examine the geometry in our world.
